Well, I guess that's good to know...

TK: Where are we going? I thought we were going home now?

ME: Well, we have to run to Wal-Mart to get some milk.

TK: Can we look at the toys?

ME: Um - maybe. We'll see. But I can tell you right now that we are NOT buying anything. It's too close to Christmas - it gets confusing for Santa when you start buying this close to Christmas. (I love August and beyond :-))

TK: Okay. Maybe we can just look.

ME: I think that sounds fine TK.

TK: And mommy, if you let me look at the toys and you say I can't buy one, that's fine. I won't slap or kick or hit or bite or even punch you. I will just say 'okay' and then leave.

???????????????????????????

Well. Phew. I guess. I had no idea that was even a possibility.

Luckily - I know what he meant and can laugh about it. It's from the drop-off-at-daycare ritual from when he was 3 and started biting again. I decided throw in every example of bad behavior lest I leave one out and have him say "You told me not to bite, but you didn't say not to punch" because he's smart enough to think that way. AACK.

I will close by saying "Thank you God for making every day an amazing experience" and by amazing I mean HELP!

Wow--you're going to need to be super-specific with this one, huh? Glad to know he has decided to install the early warning system when it comes to Wal-Mart toy visitation!
